Everyone has had that moment where they don't want to let go. In our pain, we let our pasts define us, knowing that eventually we must let it go, but our hearts keep those memories captive... at least for a little while. This is dedicated to those moments, where all you can feel is the sadness and loss of what once was. 

Blogging has been my way of letting go of the past and healing my wounds. My family has said they've noticed a change in me. I'm happier, talking more, and not as afraid all the time. I still tremble in crowds, but I am not so quick as to run off and hide in a corner like I have been for the last year. It's because you, my readers, my sponsors, and this blog have given me a voice I never had before. Thank you all so much for being my outlet and the best friends I could ever ask for. I won't lie; I'm crying just writing this, but they are happy tears that have meaning. I've never had people so willing to listen to my words or advice before. I've never been able to express art in pictures that speak for themselves. To me, this is everything.

Song Inspiration - Heads will Roll by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Walking among the grounds of her garden, the Queen gazed down at the cupcake in her hands as she thought about the latest events. Her army was ready, the jabberwocky was agitated and hungry, the world was dark and silent around the palace -- the quiet before the storm. War was to begin in Wonderland. She, the Queen of Cupcakes, was finally going to defeat the Queen of Candy. For years she had been disregarded as the smaller and weaker of the kingdoms of sweets. Why would the Queen of fluffy, delicate sweets pose a threat? She would prove them wrong.

A glimmer of malice entered her eyes as she smiles down at her cupcake. The world would soon be rudely awakened with the screams of her doubters. No longer would she be pushed around and away. They would have something to fear, and their heads would roll at her command. 

'Tonight will be victorious,' she thought to herself. She then lifted her head and held her cupcake in the air, and gazing at her portrait makers, she made her pose as she uttered the words, "Off with their heads," to her generals. Saluting her, they made their way outside of the palace, as her artists got to work on the portrait that would soon represent not the Queen of Cupcakes, but soon to be the Empress of Sweets.

I have three new looks for you all which I hope you will enjoy. The looks are filled with freebies from all over SL from creators involved with the Sinister Goth's Vanity Hunt. 

The first look, which is pink (yuck!) features some freebie hair, a past group gift from Sugar Button Boutique, and the nails from Witches and Rat which is part of the Strawberry Kube Hunt. The makeup is also free -- a last minute addition I found while I was creating these looks. 

The second is deliciously gothic featurng a free skin with both tangos and full slink appliers. It's a free group gift from Pixystix. There is also a tattoo with cute azz and tangos appliers from the Vanity Hunt! The pose and rings also come from this free hunt!

The last look is a cute little Lolita look I got from a group gift I found during the hunt. It's really adorably purple. I couldn't find any good socks, but luckily I hoarded this exclusive from the Fairy Kei Event. The free hair, also from the Vanity Hunt, comes with a color changing hud to change the color of bows on the hair -- and those bows matched by pretty little collar from The Sugar Garden. The slink nails come from my good friend Drusilla Dethly of The Little Bat and are free in the hunt.
